FentCheck® would like to recognize individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to our mission.
BAPHR Foundation awards grants to not-for-profit agencies in the Bay Area during annual grant cycles. We have donated over $2.1 million dollars to agencies with demonstrated commitment to LGBTI health and wellness since 1986.
In 2022, BAPHR provide FentCheck® with a grant to support LGBTQ+ venues in Oakland (White Horse Saloon and The Port Bar). In 2023, BAPHR became the supporter of FentCheck®’s Project 94114 focused on bringing harm reduction to the Castro (zip code 94114). This resulted in thousands of fentanyl test strips distributed in the Castro as well as providing Narcan and training in its use to the venues through the CA Naloxone Distribution Project. Their generous donations have both saved and changed lives making the community safer.
We are grateful to BAPHR for awarding FentCheck® a grant for 2024 to continue our support of the Castro.
